Presenting their family history was deeply important to the Schwartsz clan, which desired to modernise their family crest whilst preserving its old values and symbols. The family can trace their history to the early 19th century and the requirements for new crest were to keep the traditional and classic look embedded in a new graphical style.
I have redesigned a coat of arms based on old historic documents and the previous designs, composing all heraldic elements in a calm symmetry. As a vector based graphic, the new crest is easy to replicate and scale despite its dynamic and complex structure.
Completed as a private project.
